Mira

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

Mira is an AI English-speaking coach. We built it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we do — and mostly don’t do — with your data.

What stays on your device

Your progress, streaks, XP, confidence score, session history, goals and settings are stored only on your device. We do not have accounts and we do not upload this information to our servers.

Your voice

When you speak during a practice session, your audio is sent securely to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to transcribe your speech and generate coaching feedback, and then returned to your device. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you. If the network is unavailable, Mira falls back to an on-device engine and no audio leaves your phone.

You can use Mira without the microphone — tap a suggested reply or type instead. Microphone access is requested only when you choose to speak.

AI processing

To give you real corrections and a Job-Readiness score, the text of what you said and the coaching prompt are processed by our AI provider. We send only what is needed for the feature you’re using.

Notifications

If you enable practice reminders, Mira schedules a local notification on your device. No push tokens or messages are sent through our servers.

Purchases

Mira Pro is billed by Google Play / the App Store. We never see or store your card details; the store handles payment and tells the app whether you have an active subscription.

Children

Mira is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Delete my account & data, or by uninstalling the app.
